1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of MAK Bill Suite, websites, and related services operated by MAK Digital Systems ("MAK", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent.

This page provides professional placeholder terms suitable for marketing and early product use. Custom enterprise agreements may supersede sections of these Terms when signed in writing.

2. The service

MAK Bill Suite is a cloud software platform for GST billing, inventory, POS, CRM, service management, accounting-related workflows, and related features. Features available to you depend on your plan, configuration, and regional availability. We may update, add, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring users you invite comply with these Terms. You must be legally able to enter a binding contract and use the service for lawful business purposes.

4. Customer data and GST responsibility

You retain ownership of business data you upload or generate in the product. You grant MAK a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of invoices, tax configurations, filings, and compliance with GST and other laws. MAK Bill Suite assists with operational workflows and reporting; it does not replace a chartered accountant or authorized GST filing on government portals.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the service, probe vulnerabilities, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Resell the service except as expressly permitted in writing.
• Interfere with other tenants or reverse engineer the product except where prohibited restrictions are disallowed by law.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing presented at purchase. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in a written offer. Free trials or free plans may be limited, modified, or withdrawn. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of paid features.

7. Intellectual property

MAK and its licensors own the software, branding, documentation, and related IP. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAK's total liability arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the fees you paid to MAK for the service in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, legal risk, or misuse. Upon termination, your right to access the service ends. Data export options may be available for a limited period subject to plan and technical feasibility.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
